When we first began Aren’t We Lucky, we couldn’t have imagined how quickly our hats would resonate with people from all walks of life. What started as a passion project in our parents’ garage has evolved into a brand centered around gratitude, community, and finding something good in everything.
Since our launch last July, we have received countless requests from groups planning bachelorettes, weddings, and anniversaries, all wanting to incorporate the theme “Lucky in Love.” It was humbling to see people wanting to celebrate their love stories with our products, and it got us thinking about what it really means to be lucky in love. That simple phrase carries so much weight, but it’s about more than romance. It’s about gratitude for the people who show up, choose you, and make life better.
For us, love begins at home. Our parents have been our greatest example of what it looks like to love well. After being best friends for 40 years now, they have shown us that being lucky in love isn’t about perfection or feelings. In fact, it's hardly about luck and it's hardly about love - it’s about commitment, partnership, and the quiet, steady choice to support and cherish one another every. single. day.
That’s why we asked them to be the faces of this campaign.
Love doesn’t need anything fancy—it just needs to be felt, and that’s what this collection is about: finding magic in the everyday moments and cherishing the people who make life so special.
So, for our shoot, we had our parents go on their first diner date in years. Over a shared meal (at Waffle House, of course) they opened our playing cards, laughed, cried, and reminisced about the moments that brought them to where they are today.
With Lucky in Love, we wanted to create something for every kind of love story. These are pieces you can gift to your partner, knowing they’ll think of you every time they wear it (or, let’s be honest, a gift that you know you'll be “borrowing” yourself). Or maybe it’s a piece you buy for yourself as your own reminder that you’ve found something good and meaningful in this life. Whether a romantic partner, a best friend, a family member, or yourself, this collection is for anyone and everyone.
Take a moment to celebrate love in its purest form. If you are in love, you are Lucky in Love, and that is a beautiful thing.
