One of the primary motivations behind starting Aren't We Lucky was to connect with people beyond the surface level. We believe that everyone has a story—whether it’s the struggles that have shaped who they are today or the simple joys that make their world go round. These moments of vulnerability and authenticity are at the heart of what AWL represents, and they inspire everything we do.
Our latest collection wouldn’t be the same without the incredible people who helped bring it to life. Each of them brings a unique perspective, a sense of individuality, and an appreciation for the little things that align perfectly with our brand. Together, they added layers of meaning to our designs and reminded us of the beauty in connection and the power of living a life full of gratitude.
We’re thrilled to introduce you to Natalie, Miles, Willow, and Chloe—the faces of this collection and the hearts behind the scenes. We asked them a few questions to get to know them better—here are their stories. We hope they inspire you, as they’ve inspired us, to celebrate life’s journey and the connections we share.

What’s one lesson you’ve learned recently that’s changed your perspective?
"Every breath available to us is a gift” is a lesson I recently learned that altered my perspective and fully changed the way I view my daily life. When you put your daily life into this perspective- that just our breath alone and the ability we have to grow and experience everything life has to offer your gratitude for the simpler things definitely grows.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone trying to stay positive?
It can definitely be hard to always remain in a positive headspace, but one thing that always helps me to stay positive and keep an optimistic outlook on things is embracing the little joys I have in my life that always stay consistent. Finding what you love, what makes you the most authentic version of yourself- what makes you YOU- something no one can take from you and focusing on those things during hardships.
How do you stay grounded and connected to what matters most to you?
What matters the most to me is my Faith, my love for the Lord and my passion to keep pursuing a relationship with him- So, when I spend time in His word I always feel grounded and fulfilled.
What’s something or someone you are grateful for right now and why?
I'm very grateful for the people I have in my life right now, for genuine relationships and friendships and for the different forms of joy they bring to my life.
What's one thing most people don't know about you?
Most people around me don't know how much I love to write, especially for people- I love writing letters to people I love.
What’s your favorite piece from the collection, and how would you style it?
My personal favorite is the baby tee, it's very versatile and could be worn in so many different ways. I would either pair it with denim jeans and a jacket or a denim skirt and boots.

What’s one lesson you’ve learned recently that’s changed your perspective?
You can only receive as much as you believe you can. It can be challenging for me to change my mindset at times but choosing to believe that good things are coming, and changing for the better, has helped me to push through those moments in life that feel never ending and accept the things I can’t change in an instant.

How do you stay grounded and connected to what matters most to you?
Two ways that I stay grounded are through creativity and movement. When I find myself stuck in a rut and believing limiting thoughts, I get out of my comfort zone to stay true to myself. I create art to express the things I am afraid to say out loud and do things like hot yoga to release any negative energy.
What’s something or someone you are grateful for right now and why?
Someone I am really grateful for right now is my mom. Starting college has been rough for me and my mom has been there for me. Even when the negative thoughts are telling me to self isolate, she always makes her presence known and I’ll forever be grateful for that!
What’s your favorite piece from the collection, and how would you style it?
My favorite piece from the collection would have to be the blue corduroy hat. I’d style it with some baggy jeans and a tighter fitting shirt and some chunky jewelry to give it that everyday, elevated but casual look.

What’s one lesson you’ve learned recently that’s changed your perspective?
Be where your feet are. When you’re young it is so easy to catch yourself thinking the grass will be greener on the other side. Don’t let your anger or frustration cloud your judgement, take a moment to find the good things and try to learn how to make the bad, better. If you can’t, then you can start to think about what’s next.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone trying to stay positive?
Stay true to yourself and who you are. Don’t deviate from what is truly important to you.
How do you stay grounded and connected to what matters most to you?
Give yourself time to think, reflect, pray, and be alone with your thoughts. Find something that fills your cup and be sure to make time for it. Life moves fast and it is easy to burn out when you aren’t making time for what’s most important to you.
